Job Title: Senior Project Management Consultant

Location: Gauteng, West Rand District, Westonaria Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Mining

Job Duties:

• Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule
• Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• Provide expertise in underground mining operations to support project delivery
• Utilise Microsoft Project and PowerBI to track project performance and produce reports

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in underground mining preferred gold mine experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and PowerBI

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field

Experience:

Extensive experience in managing underground mining projects

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of underground mining operations
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to analyse data and produce meaningful reports using PowerBI
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Master's degree in Mining Engineering or related field

Working Conditions:
