Find out more about the company: Job Description: Designation- Hybrid BI- Data Engineer (Azure) + BI Experience- 5 to 7 Years Notice Period- 0-15days Location- Remote Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on designing and managing end-to-end data solutions. This includes leveraging modern architectures like Medallion, developing robust ETL pipelines, and utilizing Azure-based databases to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure data workflows. Strong communication skills and stakeholder management are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture: Design and implement data systems using Medallion Architecture principles to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
- ETL Development: Build, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines to handle large volumes of data across diverse sources.
- Cloud Expertise: Leverage Azure data services, such as Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory, to develop and deploy data solutions.
- Data Modeling: Create and maintain efficient data models that align with business needs and improve data accessibility.
- Automation: Implement and enhance automation in data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align on goals, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in modern data engineering practices and cloud-based tools.
- Hands-on experience with Azure data platforms, including Azure SQL, Synapse, and Data Factory.
- Expertise in building and managing scalable ETL pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture or similar layered frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Power BI and SQL (not at expert level).
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks for automation and workflow orchestration.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in data engineering roles.
