Role Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the production of quality shop drawings and BIM models in all projects assigned with minimal supervision. Produce 2D drawings from BIM models with accuracy, ensuring drawings are according to the Project or Client’s Drafting Standards and Procedures, and that the drawing submission schedule is achieved. Maintain proper records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, RFIs, etc. Follow the company’s ISO Standards and Procedures, ensuring all drawings are completed on schedule. Perform regular drawing backups and housekeeping work in the directory. Develop technical plans, sections, details, and 2D/3D schematic diagrams using AutoCAD and in-house software. Ensure fluent and organized presentation, content correctness/accuracy of shop drawings production through thorough coordination with other trades and services in 2D/3D submission. Ensure full compliance with the company’s Shop Drawings Standard Operation Procedure, including adherence to design provision/scope of work according to contractual obligations. Generate a clash report based on the Matrix provided. Work under the supervision of the Project Manager and perform assigned tasks. Experience / Skills Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant disciplines. Minimum of 2 years of working experience in space planning and design coordination, preferably on different scales of projects within engineering design consulting business. Good knowledge of software such as Revit and AutoCAD. Knowledge in Isometric drawings, LOD 350, and Plant 3D will be an added advantage. Must be able to converse in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients. Good planning skills in managing modeling and drafting work. Strong initiative and ability to work independently and within a team environment. Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Construction field experience is an added advantage.
