SITE/PROJECT ENGINEER
Job details
Project Management To resolve all technical and non-technical issues during the project lifecycle. To ensure the tracking and monitoring of items per contractual requirement. Responsible for submission and monitoring of technical drawings, method statements, and proposals. To ensure construction meets client and regulatory requirements. To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress. To coordinate, program, and monitor site work, materials, plant, and equipment. Carry out project objectives to align with company goals. Minimize material wastage on-site and maximize machinery/equipment usage. To control the allocated direct workforce effectively, including the number of direct workers and overtime. Follow approved construction methods that are cost-effective, productive, and do not compromise on quality. Achieve targeted progress of works to ensure the intended cash flow. Technical Understanding Fully understand project drawings and scope of work. Understand the implications of different technical choices to meet project objectives. Involve in providing value engineering solutions based on knowledge. Have knowledge in the preparation of engineering project proposals and method statements. Job Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent (Recognized by PEB). Experience in leading a team or subcontractors would be advantageous; strong communication skills are required. Highly committed and motivated individual. Experience in PUB(WRN) projects with more than 5 years of working experience in the related field is an advantage.
