About Our Client Our client is a large organisation and industry leader specialising in sustainable water and waste-water treatment solutions for industrial customers. They are committed to addressing critical global water challenges, including reuse, industrial, municipal, irrigation, and drinking water needs. Job Description Promote and position consolidated technologies as well as NPIs on the market Utilise cross-selling techniques to creatively solve customer challenges and issues and turn into opportunities -knowledge of process industry will be key to regional development Support existing Channel Partners, technically and commercially, building strong and durable relationships Expand Partners/OEM network, following internal qualification procedures Develop and oversee growth strategies for different markets and segments, in coordination with Product Management Develop the Municipal Micro-pollutant market in the Netherlands, create relationships with Water Boards and consultants to position appropriate portfolios Manage the entire sales process for assigned clients including lead generation, qualifying of opportunities, forecasting, and closing deals to achieve revenue recognition Achieve operating plan targets for the region Coordinate the development of proposals and quotations with the Proposals team Provide sales forecasts and reports to senior management and monitor market trends and competitor activity The Successful Applicant A successful Sales Manager will have: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent/ relevant degree Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English 5+ years of experience in sales of water treatment applications and products OR at least 5 years' experience in the water treatment field or industrial environment A proven sales record in a complex technical and relationship driven business Demonstrated skills to energise, motivate and drive multi-disciplined teams, which are no direct reports Strong negotiator and able to work with senior industrial leaders, top management and their technical and operational staff High focus on growth targets and their achievement What's on Offer A dynamic and innovative working environment.
