Product Engineer (Wire Harness)

Job Description: Conduct manufacturability evaluations for new projects, including organizing RFQ BOMs, assessing labor hours, equipment/tooling, and packaging. Lead and drive the introduction of new projects (NPI) and take the lead in resolving issues during the process. Review customer documentation before sample production, establish system part numbers & BOMs, and initiate procurement for new equipment/tooling. Prepare production process instructions, release raw material drawings, define testing parameters, and create initial engineering documents such as PFMEA and other related files. Initiate kick-off meetings for sample production, resolve and document technical/exception issues, monitor the sample production process, ensure compliance of samples and processes, optimize labor hours, and complete sample technical reports. Handle engineering changes and provide technical support to production, quality, sales, and other departments. Complete other tasks assigned by the leadership. Job Requirements: Diploma or higher in Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics. At least 3 years of experience as a wiring harness engineer. Prior experience leading the entire process of new product development is preferred; IPC620 training experience is a plus. Proficiency in office software, including Office, AutoCAD, or 3D software.
