Position Summary Independently handling design projects and developing naval architecture & hull design. Lead team to review external design. Provide assistance in enhancing the skills and knowledge of team members to support their professional development. Tasks and Responsibilities Liaise with Owner/ Class/ External Designer for the specific design requirements and provide technical solutions. Lead team to generate conceptual and basic designs. Design and deliver tailored training programs, provide one-on-one coaching, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and industry practices. Perform naval architecture calculations such as speed performance prediction, stability/hydrostatic assessments, scantling assessments, weight distribution, launching calculations, etc. Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawings and documents. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry Hull & Hull / Naval Architecture design. Skills: Good knowledge and skills in coaching and structural/naval architecture design. Familiar with GHS/NAPA/FEMAP/AutoCAD/MS Office. Good communication and analytical skills.
