The role of a (Senior) Assistant Director with the Risk Management Directorate (RMD) is essential in supporting RMD's mission as the Centre of Excellence for Risk Management in MHA. It plays a critical part in upholding public trust in MHA's ability to ensure strong governance and operational excellence in alignment with MHA's mission and objectives. What you will be working on: The incumbent's main role is to support the risk management process, with a focus on horizon scanning and the annual risk review exercise, ensuring that key risks are identified and integrated into the workplans of Home Team Departments (HTDs) and Statutory Boards (SDs). The incumbent also designs and conducts Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) trainings, serves as the ERM Deskhead for designated HTDs and MHA (HQ) Divisions, and assists with secretariat duties for the quarterly Risk Management and Audit Committee meetings. What we are looking for: Min. 7 years of working experience with 1-2 years involved in risk management, data analytics, operations, policy or training-related work. Certification in risk management or audit is an advantage. Highly driven, resourceful, independent, meticulous and analytical. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Good with numbers and proficient in data-based software such as Power BI / Tableau and Microsoft Excel. All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
