The Role Job Summary: The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for leading and managing the ecommerce operations within the retail industry. This role involves overseeing the online sales strategy, driving revenue growth, managing the ecommerce team, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across digital channels. The Ecommerce Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize online sales performance, enhance customer engagement, and achieve business objectives. Key Areas of Knowledge:
- Experience in building website SEO and SEM, and evaluating digital media campaigns.
- Ability to study UI/UX of the website and advise on the best customer experience by highlighting heat maps of product placement.
- Capability to analyze and choose products that match events.
- Create the marketing calendar and align offerings with the company's positioning.
- Operational knowledge of shipping and last mile delivery rules and regulations.
- Able to create website content by writing proper descriptions of the product in English, Arabic, or both.
- Exposure to datamining software, CRM dynamics, email marketing, and customer service add-ons.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in leading and managing ecommerce operations within the retail industry.
- In-depth understanding of ecommerce platforms, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make strategic recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful ecommerce strategies that drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
- Proficiency in using ecommerce analytics tools, CRM systems, and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing ecommerce team.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and social media marketing is preferred.
