Workplace Type: Remote Job: CUSTOMER SERVICE Schedule: FULL_TIME Important Note: This is a Limited Temporary Position. Contract Duration: 11 Months with high possibility of extension Education, Skills and Knowledge:
  1. Minimum college or technical training preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
  2. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word is required.
  3. Knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop and Email Marketing tools are preferred.
  4. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) are required along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  5. Must be able to take feedback, revise, and resubmit work if necessary.
  6. Must exhibit strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks to meet project needs.
Basic Purpose and Objectives: Provide quality management assistance to projects and oversee onboarding and offboarding of remote staff. Overall Functions and Responsibilities:
  1. Run daily reports to meet project quality goals.
  2. Responsible for onboarding and offboarding of remote employees on various Pearson systems.
  3. Provide knowledgeable responses to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
  4. Perform problem resolution, troubleshooting and diagnosing of various issues during the administrative process.
  5. Maintain and update employee records as necessary.
  6. Contribute to on-going department process development and improvement.
  7. Responsible for independent resolution to routine issues, and for notifying management of non-routine issues which need immediate attention.
  8. Provide complete documentation of issues handled.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions: Core work hours: 8:00-5:00 CST Monday through Friday. During temporary peak season, must be able to work up to two weekends a month and up to three nights during the week.
