It's a very successful company with a strong technology-centric culture. They havea busy 2025 ahead of them and are looking for a Lead Java Engineer to join them in a key role. This Lead Java Engineer is a part of the company's product-focused team with a big focus on building new features and products for the company. With a team size of 8-10 engineers currently, you'd be collaborating closely with these high-performance engineers to deliver the best products for the company and make a significant impact in the company's growth. Among others, they have several customer-facing products in the pipeline, including a massive data-processing platform to be built with event-driven architecture. The tech stack they use is very up-to-date and consists of Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka and MySQL. The ideal candidate for this Lead Java Engineer position has more than 6 years of experience with Java (or another JVM-based language, Kotlin is an advantage), Spring Boot and Kafka. The client company uses AWS but any cloud experience is absolutely great. Model of work:The company is Dublin-based and they go to the office 2 days / week. Candidates outside of the Greater Dublin Area will not be considered.
