Responsibilities: Manage mechanical maintenance to optimise plant performance and ensure safety. Procure spare parts and services to maintain long-term asset availability, in line with budget and maintenance management systems. Plan and track long-term maintenance for mechanical equipment. Lead and guide a team of Maintenance Technicians, working collaboratively with other departments. Achieve maintenance plans and targets within safety, economic, and environmental guidelines. Diagnose faults and proactively solve problems, offering innovative solutions. Support the implementation of the plant's business management system and assist in broader plant management. Communicate with owners, legal authorities, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders. Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety protocols and the permit-to-work system. Lead performance management for direct reports, ensuring alignment with team objectives. ??????? Requirements: BEng, BSc, or equivalent Level 8 qualification in Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in power plants or heavy industries (coal, mining, material handling). Strong IT skills and proficiency with maintenance management systems, including preventive maintenance planning and reporting. Middle management level experience with proven leadership abilities.
