Our client, a leading motor group in Ireland, is looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiasticApprentice Mechanic. With a range of state-of-the-art workshops , this is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in the automotive industry. About the Role: As anApprentice Technician, you will work under the supervision of the Workshop Controller, learning to service vehicles to the highest standards as per both company and manufacturer guidelines. You will gain hands-on experience diagnosing, testing, and repairing faults using the latest technologies in a dynamic team environment. Responsibilities include: Assisting experienced technicians with vehicle servicing and repairs. Diagnosing and testing vehicles in our cutting-edge facilities. Working with the latest models, including PHEV and EV vehicles. Receiving up-to-date training in evolving automotive technologies. Liaising with the service desk to communicate additional parts and repairs. Contributing to vehicle health checks and other team tasks. Supporting and assisting with the training of fellow apprentices. Skills and Experience: We are seeking applicants who either have: No experience but a strong interest in cars and a desire to become a qualified mechanic, or Up to 3 years experience as an apprentice or have completed a master's automotive program. Experience with EV and PHEV vehicles is an advantage but not required. A detail-oriented approach to documentation and IT systems. Fluency in written and spoken English. A full, valid, clean driving license. An understanding of health and safety practices in the industry. Reward Package: Full-time apprentice contract with a leading motor group in Ireland.
