ROLE OVERVIEW

The Commercial & Customer Solutions Specialist you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Port of NEOM by providing excellent customer service and support to our logistics partners. You’ll work closely with the Customer Solutions team to optimize processes, improve safety, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

The Commercial & Customer Solutions Specialist responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Build relationships: Work with different teams within the company to ensure everyone is working towards the same goals.
  • Stay informed: Communicate with people outside the company to learn about new things happening in the port industry.
  • Be an expert: expert on supply chain, heavy lift and external transport management matters, providing guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Track progress: Make sure projects related to the Port of Neom are going smoothly.
  • Improve processes: Help find ways to make the port work better and talk to customers about their experiences.
  • Support others: Assist the team with decision-making, communication, and special requests.
  • Ensure safety: Make sure everything we do follows rules and regulations.
  • Connect with others: Point of contact: customers, transportation companies, and other important people.
  • Plan: Help the team think about how to handle cargo in the future and give advice to other departments.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in relevant field.
  • Experience working on projects and leading teams.
  • Knowledge of port operations, logistics, and shipping.
  • Experience handling heavy cargo.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
