STEM Recruitment Partners are working with a medical device org, based in Dublin, that is seeking an experienced Senior Design Verification Engineer to join their R&D operations. This role focuses on verifying medical device projects to ensure comprehensive validation throughout development, readiness for formal testing, and effective lab management of testing equipment. This is an initial 12-month contract role. Competitive hourly rates available (Up to €75/hour DOE) Regular onsite work is required (3 days per week) Job Responsibilities Develop and manage verification plans; track and report progress using metrics and dashboards. Create and maintain objective evidence and traceability, assessing verification risks. Design and implement test solutions (automation, simulation, environment); oversee execution to meet quality standards. Coordinate with external engineering test services and suppliers for product and subsystem testing. Assess the impact of product updates on verification activities. Collaborate with project managers to support schedules and address roadblocks. Prepare and deliver technical documentation, including test proposals, summaries, and investigation reports. Provide guidance as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members as needed. Job Requirements Bachelors degree in engineering, scientific, or related discipline. At least 7 years of experience in electromechanical medical device verification (is an advantage), including lifecycle management and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, hands-on testing expertise, and a data-driven approach. Proficiency with tools such as MS Office, Jira, and Jama Connect. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
