Job Title: Research Fellow (Design for Safety) Posting Start Date: 27/06/2024 Job Description The successful candidates will contribute to research activities related to the development and evaluation of a comprehensive framework for design for safety management in a megaproject. The candidate shall work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) to conduct academic research and administrative work. Specific job activities may include: Conduct literature review on topics related to the project; Design interview, focus group discussion, and questionnaire survey; Collect and evaluate documents and data obtained from the collaborators and respondents; Conduct qualitative using NVIVO and quantitative analyses; Liaise with collaborators on meetings and data collections; Write research papers, reports and proposals; And any other tasks required by the principal investigator. Job Requirements A PhD within the fields of construction management, safety management, engineering management, civil and structural engineering, or related field; Knowledge of design or safety and related concepts; Experience in civil and structural design processes; Strong qualitative analysis and mixed methods competencies; Versatile with statistical methods for analysis of questionnaire data; Willing to learn, independent, leadership qualities, team player, professional, proactive, communicative, and responsible; Strong English writing and communication skills.
