Job details

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a variety of machinery, including generators, compressors, mud pumps, light and heavy vehicles, diaphragm pumps, forklifts, and wheel loaders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, including generators, compressors, mud pumps, forklifts, and more.
  • Run diagnostic tests on vehicles and equipment to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to cooling cycles, air brakes, and lubrication systems.
  • Conduct engine tune-ups and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Possess basic and essential knowledge of pneumatic systems for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or relevant certification in diesel mechanics or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Excellent reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking).
Skills:
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Solid understanding of diesel engines, pneumatic systems, and related components.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and management.
