What You Will Do- Prepare and cook food according to standard recipes, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assist Chef De Partie/Demi Chef De Partie in establishing and ensuring compliance with standard recipes.
- Inspect taste, temperature, and presentation to maintain consistent quality and portion sizes.
- Contribute to product development and efficient kitchen operations.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and requisition.
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen at all times.
- Support daily kitchen operations and uphold high food preparation standards.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure adequate supplies for daily needs.
- Create appealing room amenities and support special culinary projects.
- Exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude in all tasks.
- Adhere to food safety protocols and possess knowledge of halal food preparation.
- Respond to emergencies and comply with safety procedures.
- Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the similar role in a five-star luxury hotel.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Works well in a team environment ability to work effectively under pressure
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
- Active listening skills.
