- Transform design concepts into reality, ensuring a seamless blend of aesthetics and functionality.
- Develop innovative furniture designs aligned with Alasfor Furniture's brand identity and customer needs.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes for production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and sales, to ensure design feasibility and quality.
- Research trends, materials, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into designs.
- Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, and techniques for each project.
- Conduct site visits and supplier assessments to ensure quality and compliance with design standards.
- Prepare progress reports, presentations, and design documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:- A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related fields.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in furniture design, including bespoke and large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar.
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and ergonomics.
- Experience in high-profile or luxury design projects is a plus.
- Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.
