Now we are looking for Director of Reward & People Operations to join the team in Luton (remote). ABOUT THE PROJECT / ROLE: The Director of Reward & People Operations will play a strategic leadership role in shaping and executing the company’s people and culture strategies with a primary focus on compensation, benefits, performance management, employee experience, and organisational efficiency. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can align reward and people practices with the business's overall goals, drive a high-performance culture, and ensure that the company attracts, retains, and motivates top talent while maintaining a competitive and equitable workplace. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Reward Strategy and Design : Develop and implement comprehensive reward strategies that are aligned with the company's overall business objectives and market trends. Design competitive and fair compensation structures, including base pay, bonuses, long-term incentives, and benefits packages. Lead the benchmarking and analysis of compensation and benefit offerings to ensure the organisation remains competitive within the industry and attracts top talent. People Operations Leadership: Oversee the delivery of core people operations functions, including HR systems, employee lifecycle management, and compliance. Ensure operational excellence in benefits administration and management, and employee data analytics. Partner with HR and business leaders to improve organisational processes, increase operational efficiencies, and streamline people-related workflows. Employee Experience and Engagement : Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing workplace culture, retention, and overall employee satisfaction. Drive initiatives to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within reward and people operations practices. Champion the design of career development and performance management programs that support employee growth and alignment with business goals. Analytics and Reporting : Use data and analytics to monitor the effectiveness of reward programs, employee satisfaction, and overall organisational performance. Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team on compensation trends, workforce demographics, and key performance metrics. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend actionable changes to enhance the company’s people operations. Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure all reward, benefits, and people operations programs are compliant with relevant local, national, and international laws and regulations. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to compensation, benefits, and employee relations. YOU NEED TO HAVE: Education : Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (master's preferred). Experience : Strong experience in Human Resources, with a focus on compensation, benefits, and people operations; previous experience in a leadership role is essential. Strategic Thinking : Proven ability to develop and implement long-term strategies aligned with business goals. Leadership : Strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and working closely with senior leaders. Analytical Skills : Proficiency in data analysis, HR metrics, and using insights to drive decision-making. Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships at all levels of the organisation. Change Management : Experience managing change within the organisation, with a focus on employee engagement and organisational development. Legal and Compliance Knowledge : In-depth understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
