Our client, a leading private equity-backed financial services company, is currently seeking a Head of Billing and Invoicing to join their Dublin city centre-based team. You will lead and optimise global billing and collections operations. Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, this senior leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of invoicing and cash collection processes, and contributing significantly to the financial health of the organisation. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a global strategy for billing and collections, aligned with the companys financial and commercial objectives. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing billing and collections team across multiple jurisdictions. Oversee the end-to-end billing process to ensure invoices are accurate, compliant with regulatory requirements, and issued on time. Manage the collections process, driving timely recovery of outstanding balances while maintaining strong client relationships. Establish and monitor KPIs to track and improve the performance of billing and collections activities. Serve as a key point of escalation for complex client billing and collections issues. Evaluate, enhance, and implement systems and tools to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of billing and collections processes. Provide regular reporting and insights on billing and collections performance to senior management. Requirements: Proven experience in a senior billing and collections/credit control leadership role, preferably within the financial or professional services sector. Strong understanding of financial operations and accounting principles across multiple jurisdictions. Excellent leadership and team-management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with the ability to drive systems enhancements. Client-focused mindset, with the ability to balance commercial goals and client satisfaction.
