The Events Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the planning and execution of various events within the catering and food service industry. This position requires a blend of creativity, organization, and communication skills to ensure that each event runs smoothly and meets the client's expectations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events, from initial planning to final execution, ensuring that every detail is meticulously managed. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution.
  2. Coordinate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
  3. Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure the best services and prices.
  4. Oversee event logistics, including setup, catering, audio-visual needs, and guest management.
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.
  6. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  8. Assist in marketing efforts to promote upcoming events and services.
  9. Manage event staff and volunteers to ensure efficient operation during events.
