Associate, Human Resources (Recruitment), Professional Development Centre, GilgitEntity Institute for Educational Development Location Gilgit, Pakistan Introduction Aga Khan University, chartered in 1983 as Pakistan's first private international university, is committed to the provision of education, research and health care of international standard relevant to Pakistan and the region. The affiliated Aga Khan University Hospital has well-equipped investigative services and provides state-of-the-art clinical facilities. Aga Khan University-Institute for Educational Development, Pakistan (AKU-IED) has been a 3-decade partner with the Department of Education (DoE), GB contributing to improving children's access to quality education, strengthening governance of education, and facilitating community involvement in schools in Gilgit-Baltistan. AKU is currently partnering with the DoE GB on the GB Education Fellows (EFs) project, i.e. a commitment of GB Govt to at least partly address the dearth of teachers in the public sector schools in GB. The AKU-led Consortium invites applications from suitable candidates to induct them as subject specialists for GB Education Fellows project at PDCN. This is a grant-funded contractual position for a period of eleven months. Responsibilities You will be responsible to: lead end to end recruitment activities in line with agreed KPIs, approved budget, and institutional policiesprepare job advertisements, shortlist applications, arrange and conduct interviews and assessments of shortlisted candidatescoordinate and facilitate AKU Finance and main HR in disbursing salaries and other project payments provide support in making employment offers to the selected candidatescoordinate with relevant departments to ensure all pre-joining formalities are completed before joining of the candidateassist in smooth induction, orientation, and onboarding activities in coordination with the relevant departmentsprovide support and ensuring the accuracy of the data in the HRMSensure timely delivery of employment contracts for appointments, promotions, transfers etc. understand business dynamics, strengthen business relationships, and provide quick service to the stakeholdersmaintain the HR database and make it available for planning and decision-making mitigate emerging HR-related issuesdevelop reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis ensure Up-to-date information on the market practices, trends, and regulatory process.Requirements You should have: a Bachelors' degree in Business Administration or equivalent, Master's preferredat least two years of proven track record of providing People/HR administrative support in a large, multi-site, multi-disciplined businessexperience of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding and employee experienceability to maintain confidentialityability to be focused on priorities while managing tight deadlines to ensure goals are achievedability to communicate and articulate information effectively with people at all levels, both written and verbally at the right time in the right manner ability to maintain own Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and knowledge of 'best practice' in your functional areaproficiency in MS Office.To ApplyYou should send your detailed CV by email to human.resources@aku.edu and mention the position number '10051834' in the subject line.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Applications should be submitted latest by July 28, 2024
