At least 1 year of prior work experience in the finance section of an NGO.EducationMBA Finance / BBA FinanceLast Date6/9/2024 12:00:00 AMJob DescriptionTASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:Collect, review, and examine supporting documents as per organization's policies required for vendor payments processing, preparing cheques, and making disbursements.Collect, review, and examine per diems and travel expense claims of staff/personnel, obtaining necessary approvals, preparing cheques, and making disbursements.Deduct tax on vendor payments as per Income Tax/Sales Tax laws applicable in Pakistan and deposit them in the Government Treasury within the prescribed time period.Collect/download computerized CPRs and annex them with tax payment vouchers as supporting documents, filling prescribed tax records to Karachi head office on a monthly basis.Prepare all vouchers (BPVs, JVs, BRVs, CPVs) in Sidat Hyder Financials (SHF) using the correct account code given in the chart of accounts and cost centers in line with the approved budget for ongoing campaigns.Issue petty cash on petty cash requests duly approved by authority, update petty cash records and accounting records as cash is issued, and replenish the petty cash when it reaches the prescribed limit.Ensure no advance is issued to employees that are in accordance with the organization's policies.Generate and escalate advances to employees (Party Wise Report) and follow up until the adjustment/settlement of employees' advances outstanding beyond the prescribed time period.Prepare bank reconciliation statements on a monthly basis.Close coordination with IA representative for resolution of audit queries.Liaise with the Karachi office to track vouchers along with cheques for signatures.Monthly reporting (financial statements) and relevant reports support to the Grants Coordinator.Liaise with Provincial offices for efficient resolution of outstanding financial matters/payment queries.Any other task assigned by Supervisor/Head of Department.
