From our restaurants-partners, cloud kitchens and cloud grocery stores — foodpanda is just one tap away, getting everything you need into your hands quickly and conveniently!If you love working with technology to create solutions and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done, you will find your tribe here at foodpanda. foodpanda comprises of people from more than 60 nationalities, and we believe in winning through diversity.foodpanda is part of the Delivery Hero Group, the world's leading local delivery platform operating in 70+ countries worldwide.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Oversees the procurement process of Rice/Pulses/Flour/Dry Fruits/Sugar.Will be responsible for overall profitability of the commodities category.Will be responsible for end to end process of unbranded and branded range of overall commodities portfolio.Manages day to day business of the fulfillment while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as business analysis, vendor management, quality assurance.Works with cross functional teams to help set and meet daily and quarterly goals.Works closely with Platform Manager on timely execution of stock receiving/ deliveries.Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.Collaborates with other category teams to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values.Collaborates with transitions and onboarding teams as needed.Assesses a variety of situations and provides clarity to team and stakeholders.Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with vendors, internal business lines.Solicits and responds to feedback while gaining commitment and support.Manage Transport vendors and their billing.Works closely with the management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance to regulatory-based best practices.Requirements:Masters or at least graduate degree and must have 5 plus years of hands on experience related with commodities.Must have excellent communication/interpersonal, negotiation skills.
