Overall Scope:
Summary of the position:
The Vigilance Inspector acts as the eyes and ears of the company by regularly patrolling ODN development sites and areas to ensure the safety and security of the installations. The position also gathers intelligence on the status and pace of work of company ODN development operations, screening activities of the competition, and reporting through various communication mediums.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrolling the OSP Infrastructure Route.
Monitoring any digging, excavation, and construction work along the Optical Fiber Infrastructure.
Tracking all company assets installed on the road site, such as ducts, cables, cabinets, termination boxes, and enclosures.
Routine checking of all assets installed in OSP.
Identifying any damages or out-of-order infrastructure components.
Observing any variations in existing infrastructure from the actual statistics.
Following up with 3rd party contractors regarding required maintenance of the infrastructure.
Coordinating closely with representatives of different utility companies and competitors (PTCL, Nayatel, Wateen, Multinet, and Mobilink) regarding NOC/ROW issuing authorities and contractors engaged in civil works.
Assisting the Operation & Maintenance team in localizing ground faults.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Essential:
Intermediate or Matriculate with first or second division.
Owns a motorbike in good condition and has a valid driving license.
Able to communicate via mobile phone and use social media platforms.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach; fast learner with a passion for growth.
Desirable:
Language skills in Urdu, English, and local language (preferred).
Independence with a positive energy level.
Creativity and emphasis on excellence.
