Specialist CS Core Planning - Islamabad

Specialist CS Core Planning will be looking after IMS/VoLTE/VoWiFi, STPs, SS7 firewalls, MSCs, MGWs, SBC platforms preferably with vendors like Huawei. This role reports to Manager CS Core Planning and Operations in a team of 12 people.What does Specialist CS Core Planning do?Be a specialist in Circuit Switched Core Network Products, including IMS, ATS, CSCF, SBC, MSCs, MGWs, and STPs. Consistently evaluate and enhance the Jazz Technology and Development framework, crafting innovative solutions aligned with international best practices. Manage and optimize Core Network statistics and KPIs to meet specific requirements. Adhere to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while executing tasks and fulfilling job-related duties. Engage in report writing and Method of Procedure (MOP) preparation. Oversee project management activities, ensuring thorough follow-up and closure for both new and existing projects.RequirementsWe are seeking a Specialist in CS Core Planning who possesses practical experience with IMS, VoLTE/VoWiFi, MSCs, MGWs, STPs, SBCs, as well as SS7 firewalls, preferably with Huawei equipment. The ideal candidate should be a signaling expert, proficient in trace analysis, configuration, and troubleshooting.Soft skills and Educational background:The candidate must possess exceptional communication skills, enabling them to represent the department and its technology portfolio with professionalism, maturity, and a balanced perspective on any competing views. They should demonstrate innovative thinking and a solution-oriented approach, capable of developing solutions that align with our philosophy, competencies, and leadership expectations.Applicants should have a minimum of 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, holding a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Telecom, Software, or Computer Engineering.
