As a Software Engineer, you will design and implement software solutions based on customer needs and requirements. Along with our team of engineers, you will work together to build and support our Enterprise applications and:Provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services.Analyse business requirements to provide personalized, relevant, seamless solutions for our clients.Your team: You'll join one of our engineering teams in Doha, Qatar and develop your skills and network. You'll be working alongside our engineers and business stakeholders that will allow you to gain a wider perspective on technology and how it's used in the financial industry. With daily tasks, code reviews, and analysis discussions, you'll be supported by a buddy.Your expertise:A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.Ideally graduating in May 2024.Fluent in English and have a valid residency permit in Qatar.Flexible, open-minded, and cooperative personality with a flair for tech, data, and analytics.An interest in IT and application development with a proactive personality.An interest in working in a fast-paced international agile environment as a pod member involved in day-to-day tasks.First-hand experience with cloud architecture and programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, Python, HTML5, React, etc.).Exposure to DevOps, Git/GitLab, Unit Tests/TDD, Integration tests, Deployment Pipelines, Kubernetes/Docker concepts is desirable.Good communication, planning, and organizing skills.About us: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
