HCO proudly recognizes and welcomes the diversity of our community and strives to be inclusive for all.What You Will Be Doing:As part of our inaugural Residence Care Team at Maison de l'Est, you will be working with an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals and volunteers providing quality palliative and patient centred care to our hospice residents and their families/caregivers. Part time positions available.Your Qualifications:Current Registration as an RN with the Ontario College of NursesExperience in hospice palliative and/or end-of life careAbility to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary teamDemonstrate a patient-focused approach to care and ability to work with families/caregiversExcellent communication skills in French and English - oral and writtenIn addition, having the following would be an asset:LEAP Certification (Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative Care) - or willingness to complete as an employment requirementCOVID-19: All employees and volunteers of Hospice Care Ottawa are required to provide proof of full vaccination and ability to continue to comply with our vaccination policy.Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job.
