YOUR ROLE We are seeking an experienced business development / sales professional in airfreight and oceanfreight to join the CEVA Business Development team as Field Sales Manager, based from our Pinkenba QLD offices. Your primary focus in the role will be to promote CEVA’s range of competitive and tailored solutions to prospective customers, winning new business from lead generation through to close of contract. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Specifically, you will:
- Prospect and qualify leads from internal and external sources, through your own networks and others
- Develop pricing, service and product strategies to deliver innovative solutions to our customers
- Prepare and present proposals to customers; prepare and analyse customer sales strategies
- Coordinate and effectively communicate with colleagues across field sales, operations, and international offices for quotations and business issues
- Ensure prospect and opportunity pipelines have sufficient revenue to drive an outcome that shows relevant financial growth.
- Complete sales administration tasks in our CRM to manage calendar, customer accounts, contacts and opportunities
- Work with sales and operational staff in other product lines to promote cross-sell opportunities.
- Good understanding of supply chain management, including warehousing and transport.
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing and customer management skills
- Intermediate skills in MS Office and capable of quickly adapting to new systems and technology
- Valid driver licence and own vehicle
- Bonus: experience working with a CRM; tertiary qualification in supply chain, business / commerce or similar.
