Policy Analyst

About the Role Stratford District Council is recruiting for a Policy Analyst to join the team. You will be responsible for leading and supporting the creation and review of Council's policies, strategies, plans, and bylaws. You'll play a pivotal role in developing and delivering Council's Sustainability initiatives and providing evidence-based analysis for key Council documents. This position is part time (20 hours per week) and will be located at the Stratford District Council, Miranda Street, Stratford; however, flexible working arrangements may be available in time. About You You are an energetic and enthusiastic team player who has a keen eye for detail and accuracy, a well-organised self-starter who is able to manage multiple activities at once. You have appropriate qualifications in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in policy planning within local, regional, or central government and knowledge of relevant legislation. You will have good administrative, coordination, and time management skills and a high skill level of Microsoft Office products.
