We are recruiting a Accounts Executive - AtR to join our growing team at KL HUB Shah Alam. You will join a supportive team with the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally with support. About the Role:
- Support the overall concept of a “Service Centre” by ensuring that Atlas Copco standards, tools and processes are used in the service center and by our customers.
- Process and innovation: actively participate in process and systems improvements and development.
- Strive for continuous improvement of efficiency of processes in responsible areas.
- Responsible for the preparation of all IFRS based Group reports, and other finance documents.
- Support Business Areas and Finance team providing professional advice regarding accounting and reporting ensure compliance to IFRS and Group standards, Business Code of Practice.
- Ensure all queries are dealt in a timely manner, correctly and efficiently.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of general ledger reconciliations and follow up of open items.
- Ensure group and other agreed deadlines are met.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of Control period end closing.
- Ensure all major issues or red flags are escalated to management as appropriate.
- Ensure monthly meetings with local customer center are conducted pre-month end closing.
- Internal controls: establish and maintain a proper level of control over accounting and reporting processes.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are maintained and up to date.
- Support the training of new colleagues.
- Work with internal and external auditors.
- Assist local entities and Holdings in completing local statutory reporting requirements.
- Work closely with the AtR team and also with the PtP & OtC teams in the service center.
- Minimum 2 years in accounting and finance.
- University degree higher education in finance or accounting.
- English – written and ability to hold meetings, video and telephone conferences and presentations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Major ERP system (prefer candidate with exposure to SAP).
- Result oriented with a strong ability to execute.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Well organized and systematic.
- Ability to plan and follow through.
