Role Brief : At Anakin, Lead Enginee r will own, solve problem statements and derive solutions that enable us to productize our solution, find out ways to automate workflows to bring out efficiencies and mentor engineers to do their best. What will you do?
- Understand the team’s technical needs and design smart, scalable solutions , using your knowledge of Anakin’s innovative product ecosystem .
- Take ownership of projects by guiding engineers through every phase— design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements .
- Lead the development of key components and systems , ensuring they are designed, built, and improved to meet high standards of performance and reliability .
- Use best practices like clean code, modular design , and efficient refactoring to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Help build new features and products that shape the future of pricing solutions for global markets.
- Ensure the team follows effective engineering processes while delivering high-quality work.
- Lead projects from idea to execution , making a direct impact on how businesses use pricing strategies.
- Analyze system data and performance to find and fix areas for improvement.
- Provide technical leadership , helping engineers grow and work effectively as a team.
- Review work (code, design) and give feedback to maintain a consistent, high-quality output .
- Write clear and simple documentation to help team members easily onboard and contribute.
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of engineering experience , including 1+ years in a leadership, mentoring, or coaching role .
- Proven ability to take ownership of projects from requirements to release , delivering impactful solutions.
- Skilled at mentoring and guiding engineers , fostering growth and innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , capable of tackling complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities , enabling seamless teamwork.
- Deep expertise in system design and building scalable, robust architectures.
- Python /Java /NodeJS /TypeScript
- AWS - (EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, ECR & ECS)
- Database - Postgres/Any SQL database, MongoDB
- GCP - BigQuery
- CI/CD - (Jenkins, Docker) - JIRA & Confluence.
- Web crawling/Scraping knowledge
- Good experience in reverse engineering
- Django/Flask
- Redis
