COST CONTROLLER
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Bachelor's Degree Mechanical / Electrical Engineer or related fieldWork Experience : Min 5 yrs. / preferably in the construction industry.
Work Schedule : Monday – Friday : 9:00AM – 6:00PM
Salary Range(Monthly) : Open Negotiation
Work Location : Makati
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- monitoring and analyzing costs
- cooperating with project managers to help them meet budgeting goals
- writing reports and presenting information to key stakeholders
- developing and adjusting budgets
- researching to find opportunities to reduce expenses
- evaluating project requirements to provide vital resources, including financial and human
- communicating with suppliers to negotiate material costs
- optimizing decommissioning procedures to minimize losses
- visiting and monitoring retail outlets to assess wastage and efficiency
- implementing accounting software and automating cost control systems
- developing financial reporting procedures and systems
- collaborating with project managers to create effective budgets
- calculating the variance between the budgeting plan and reality
- investigating unprofitable variances and losses
- developing cost-efficient solutions to implement changes
