Cost Accountant
Job details
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for tracking and analyzing costs related to production, inventory, and operational processes. The role involves preparing detailed cost reports, evaluating cost structures, and recommending strategies to improve financial efficiency. He/ She will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost allocation, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing cost reports and financial statements.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with various departments and presenting findings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
- Knowledge of industry-specific cost factors, such as food production and inventory management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing financial conditions.
