STRIDE AHEAD Job Title: Psychometrician Location: Remote (Preferably Delhi NCR) Job Type: Full-time/ Part-time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Psychometrician to design, develop, and analyze assessment tools for measuring cognitive abilities, personality traits, and other psychological constructs. The Psychometrician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create valid and reliable assessments for educational purposes. The ideal candidate is proficient in statistical analysis, psychometric methodologies, and research writing, with some experience applying these techniques. Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment Development: Design and develop tests, questionnaires, and other assessment tools to measure cognitive, behavioral, and personality traits.
- Validation & Reliability Testing: Conduct statistical analysis to ensure the validity and reliability of assessments, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis: Use statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS) to analyze test results, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in scoring and reporting.
- Research & Innovation: Stay updated on emerging trends in psychometrics and testing, recommending and implementing innovative assessment methods.
- Research Papers: Write and contribute to research papers and publications based on findings from psychometric studies, assessments, and testing results.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with HR teams, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to identify assessment needs and ensure tools are aligned with organizational goals.
- Reporting & Interpretation: Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate assessment outcomes, psychometric properties, and data insights to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and revise assessments based on feedback, changing organizational needs, and advancements in psychometric techniques.
- Independent Work: Ability to manage tasks independently, from research and analysis to reporting, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Education: Masters in Psychometrics, Educational Measurement, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in psychometric research, assessment design, and data analysis, with some experience writing research papers.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS)
- Research Writing: Ability to write research papers and experience in academic or professional publishing.
