The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and maintaining a variety of tools and equipment used in our production processes. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop new tools and modifications to existing ones based on engineering specifications and production requirements.
- Utilise machining techniques such as milling, turning, grinding, and drilling to shape raw materials into tool components.
- Assemble and test tools to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production staff to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
- Proven experience as a Tool Maker or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in machining techniques and operating machine tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
