The Role As the VP of Revenue , you will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving the global sales strategy, expanding revenue, and leading a high-performance sales team. Over the past two years, Inato has experienced 10x growth, and now our goal is to scale another tenfold. You will develop and execute strategies to target large and mid-market pharmaceutical companies, including our existing partnerships with half of the top 40 pharma companies, engaging with top-level executives and decision-makers to drive adoption across their organizations and throughout the value chain. Additionally, you will act as a thought partner to Liz Beatty, our Chief Strategy Officer, and Kourosh Davarpanah, our CEO, for pricing strategy and growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with our ambitious vision. You will report to Liz Beatty. Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: - Develop, lead, and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy to scale revenue, with a focus on the Americas and Europe. - Build and maintain strong relationships with large and mid-market pharma, CROs, and biotechs, selling to senior executives and key decision-makers. - Drive revenue growth by increasing the adoption of Inato’s platform across entire customer portfolios and value chains. - Ensure the platform’s unique AI capabilities are fully leveraged to enhance customer value and drive adoption.
- Team Leadership & Growth: - Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team capable of executing the global growth strategy. This includes establishing team structures, roles, and clear performance metrics. - Foster a results-driven culture focused on accountability, achievement, and growth.
- Pricing & Thought Partnership: - Collaborate with leadership to refine and evolve pricing strategies to align with market needs, customer expectations, and the broader organizational goals. - Act as a thought leader, providing insights on market trends, competition, and customer feedback to influence product development, marketing, and strategic direction.
- Customer & Market Insights: - Stay informed about market dynamics, industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs across the global pharmaceutical landscape. - Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making, improve sales processes, and identify areas for product and service enhancements.
- - 10+ years proven experience in sales leadership within the health tech, clinical trials, or pharmaceutical industry, ideally selling SaaS solutions to large and mid-sized pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and biotechs.
- - Strong track record of driving substantial revenue growth, exceeding sales targets, and scaling operations in a high-growth environment.
- - Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical sales cycle, clinical trial ecosystem, and global challenges in patient recruitment and site engagement, with the ability to influence senior executives and key decision-makers.
- - Demonstrated success in leading and scaling global sales teams, with a focus on revenue generation, performance management, and aligning sales strategies with market and company goals.
- - Experience with pricing models and contributing to pricing strategy development, ensuring alignment with market needs.
- - Familiarity with AI technologies and the ability to communicate the value of AI-driven solutions to customers.
- - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, including product, marketing, and executive leadership.
- - Strategic thinker with a passion for solving complex business challenges and driving growth through innovative approaches.
- - Must be located on the East Coast.
