Back End Engineer (Python and Django)

Back-end engineer/Developer ( Python and Django 5) Back End experience experience is key. £55k plus benefits plus equity - First or second Jobber. Location : Hybrid (two days a week in our London office preferred), fully remote considered for the right candidate. A fintech start up that is looking to stream line the process with AI driven data solutions. This company has taken off and is looking to hire once again. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain back-end systems and create API integrations using Django 5 and async DRF. Work in an Agile environment and collaborate directly with the CEO, CTO and a team of expert developers on innovative projects, with the potential to become Lead Back-End Engineer as the company expands. Contribute to product discussions and the development of other parts of the project. Qualifications: Proficiency in Python, particularly Django 5 and DRF. Experience with other aspects of the tech stack such as Kubernetes deployments / PostgreSQL db / front-end development (Vue 3, Nuxt, tailwind) appreciated. Ability to work collaboratively and lead on independent projects. A passion for continuous learning and innovation. Ideally 2+ years of experience as a developer and a BSc or equivalent in science or engineering.
