Java Technical Lead Location : Remote (with in-person developer days in London every 4 weeks) Rate : £600–£625 per day (Inside IR35) Contract Length : 3 months rolling (long-term potential) The Opportunity An exciting opportunity for a skilled Java Tech Lead to join a high-profile project, contributing to the development and enhancement of innovative digital solutions. This role offers the chance to work remotely with periodic collaboration in London, allowing for flexibility alongside the opportunity to engage with a talented, multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities

  • Build, enhance, and maintain robust Java-based applications using Spring Framework.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure with AWS and Terraform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Design complex systems with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Organize and lead sprints, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver key milestones.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, sharing insights and innovations to optimize development processes.
What’s Required
  • Proven experience in Java development and working with the Spring Framework.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS and Terraform for cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Expertise in system design and the ability to deliver well-architected solutions.
  • Hands-on experience organizing and leading agile sprints.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote/hybrid team environment.
