As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented Software Development Manager to lead our development team in building and scaling our solutions. Role Overview: As a Software Development Manager, you will lead a team of skilled developers to design, develop, and maintain our restaurant data software. You’ll be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including system architecture, technical leadership, and team management. Your expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Next.js, and Vue.js, as well as full-stack knowledge of Laravel and back-end development, will be essential to drive the project’s success. Key Responsibilities:
- Led, mentored, and managed a team of full-stack developers working on our restaurant data platform.
- Oversee the full development lifecycle, from planning and requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of our platform as it grows.
- Drive best practices for coding, testing, and deployment, ensuring high standards of software quality.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends, applying them to improve the platform and development processes.
- Manage and optimize development workflows using modern project management tools.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.js, Next.js, and Vue.js.
- Proficient in Laravel and back-end development, including building and maintaining APIs.
- Solid understanding of full-stack development, including front-end, back-end, and database management.
- Proven track record of leading teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and strong project management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Experience with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality industry software is a bonus.
