Senior Finance Executive

Guardian Venture is a strategy consulting firm that works with companies to drive business growth. We work closely with business owners on strategy and their team on operation as we want to show our commitment as partners instead of a consultant-client relationship. We are seeking a Senior Finance Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for managing financial reporting, reviewing invoices and payments, ensuring timely and compliant financial reports, overseeing budget management, and supporting smooth daily operations. Job Description:

1. Oversee the production of periodic financial reports. Ensure that the reports comply with accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
2. Review all invoices and payment instructions for appropriate documents.
3. Maintaining general administrative support including office files and other files related to the company's operations.
4. Assist in managing office budgets, bookkeeping tasks, record expenses and petty cash.
5. Maintain accounting books and records for daily sales.
6. Purchasing office supplies and equipment.
7. Any other duties as and when assigned by superior or management.

1. Candidate with a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
3. Knowledge in accounting principles, statutory laws and regulations.
4. Hands-on experience in using accounting software eg QBO and/or Cloud POS system such as StoreHub is an added advantage.
5. Excellent in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite App (Word, PowerPoint).
6. Strong organizational, time management & communication skills.
7. Attention to detail and well organized.
8. Good command of written and spoken Mandarin and English to deal with internal & external team.
