Summary The Sales Manager for KINTO retail rental business is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the brand’s retail rental segment. This role focuses on developing and executing a robust sales strategy aimed at expanding the customer base, increasing market share, and achieving revenue targets. The Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of the sales process, manage the sales team, and build strong relationships with key retail clients, ensuring that the KINTO brand is competitive and recognized in the market. Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Execute a practical sales strategy to grow KINTO’s retail rental business.
  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including entering untapped markets and engaging new customer segments.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, establish performance metrics, and align the sales activities with the company’s business goals.
  • Regularly monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify actionable opportunities and make real-time adjustments to the sales approach.
Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Lead efforts to acquire new retail customers, including individuals and families.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and tailor rental packages, promotional offers, and services accordingly.
  • Develop customer retention strategies, including loyalty programs, referral incentives, and exclusive offers.
Team Leadership & Sales Performance Management
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing regular coaching, support, and motivation to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Establish clear goals and performance benchmarks for the sales team and monitor progress through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement action plans for underperforming team members.
  • Foster a team culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Sales Process Optimization
  • Design and implement efficient sales processes to streamline lead generation, customer onboarding, and contract closure.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales leads, customer interactions, and follow-ups, ensuring no opportunities are missed.
  • Continuously improve the customer journey from the first contact to post-rental support, enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment on promotions, customer communication, and service delivery.
Pricing, Promotions & Negotiations
  • Design and execute promotional campaigns that appeal to different customer segments, such as holiday specials, weekend deals, or rental discounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with retail customers, ensuring deals are profitable and aligned with company policies.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to refine pricing models and promotional offers.
Brand Promotion & Marketing Collaboration
  • Partner with the marketing team to enhance the visibility of the KINTO brand through various channels, including digital marketing, social media, and in-store promotions.
  • Represent the KINTO brand at industry events, trade shows, and local community events to increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborate on marketing initiatives, contributing sales insights and customer behavior trends to inform campaigns.
  • Ensure that all sales initiatives reflect the KINTO brand’s values and image, maintaining consistency across customer touchpoints.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to senior management, providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and opportunities.
  • Use data analytics tools to evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and marketing campaigns, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer preferences, competitor strategies, and overall market dynamics.
Training & Development
  • Organize regular training sessions for the sales team, focusing on sales techniques, customer relationship management, and product knowledge.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, customer behavior, and new rental products/services to train the team effectively.
  • Encourage professional growth and development within the team by providing career development opportunities.
Skills Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 8 – 9 years of relevant experience.
  • You must have experience in sales management in the car rental or automotive industry, with a focus on retail.
