Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect / Software Architect £800-£900 per day - OUTSIDE IR35 We are looking for a contract Solutions Architect / Technical Architect to join an Energy Trading firm based in Central London. You will be joining as a Contract Solutions Architect and be involved in systems architecture for their core systems.

• Status: Outside IR35
• Title: Contract Solutions Architect / Software Architect
• Rate: £800-£900 per day
• Location: Hybrid Working in London / Remote Working
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Technologies (.NET, Azure, SQL)

• Strong ability to translate business needs into actionable technology solutions.
• Ability to balance strategic and tactical decisions, considering both long-term goals and short-term needs.
• Skilled in working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and negotiating effectively.
• Proactive, driven, and goal-oriented with a strong focus on achieving results.
• Dependable, ethical, and committed to high standards of integrity.
• Quick to understand new technologies, trends, and architectural approaches.

• Experience in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems, including architecture and implementation.
• Knowledge of cloud or hybrid architectures (they use Azure)
• Microsoft Tech Stack exposure - C# .NET SQL etc
• Strong awareness of current technology trends in the market.
• Extensive experience in solution design, preferably with Microsoft technologies.
• Business and technical knowledge of energy or commodities trading environments is Desirable*
• Broad experience with a variety of software technologies and solutions.
• Proven ability to deliver software solutions in complex business environments.
