Lead Frontend Engineer (React Native) | £110,000 | React Native | TypeScript | Expo | South West London | Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) Are you ready to lead Frontend development in one of the most dynamic sectors of tech? We’re searching for a Lead Frontend Engineer skilled in React Native to take a series B scale-ups mobile app to the next level and help us push boundaries in the quick commerce space . About the Role As a Lead Frontend Engineer , you'll be responsible for crafting an exceptional user experience for their iOS and Android applications . You’ll work closely with designers and product managers to test hypotheses, implement scalable solutions , and continuously optimize the app's performance. Your work will directly contribute to making them the industry leader in London and beyond. Responsibilities:
- Build and optimise user-facing features using React Native and TypeScript .
- Translate designs into high-quality code with a focus on performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to test and implement scalable solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development for B2C mobile apps .
- Strong expertise in React Native and TypeScript .
- Experience with Node.js , GraphQL , Kotlin , Swift , or AWS is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to operate independently.
