Auckland Council is currently seeking an Aquatic Director to join their team in Auckland, New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide a safe environment through proactive supervision and positive interaction with customers. Candidates must be able to work as a pool lifeguard for Auckland Council by passing a swim test of 200 meters in 6 minutes. Applicants must hold a pool lifeguard practicing certificate and a first aid certificate. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $26 per hour. Candidates must have proven administration and communication skills, and provide outstanding customer service, maturity, and reliability.
Qualifications for Aquatic Director:
- Candidates must hold a provisional licensed professional counselor certificate.
- Must hold a pool lifeguard practicing certificate and a first aid certificate.
- Excellent administration and communication skills to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to provide necessary training at no cost.
Responsibilities for Aquatics Director:
- Provide a safe environment through proactive supervision and positive interaction with customers.
- Educate and enforce pool rules to customers.
- Ensure the surrounding pool area is always clean.
- Provide first aid in a quick, responsible, and calm manner.
