Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar is named for its roof branches reminiscent of a deers antlers our intimate space offers a haven of comfortable seating a selection of boutique beers cocktails and quality wines as well as impressive tapas menu. We are looking for an enthusiastic superstar to lead our fantastic team! We are seeking a passionate bar manager that represents our service philosophy with an open minded attitude flexible to adapt their skills & the know how to create great experiences. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar venue & understands the requirements in a high volume venue You will have a passion for people service & delivery of expectations. They must be able to multitask at a high level whilst developing individual team members and the team as a whole. You will also have a handson management style and flexible work ethic. As Sixteen Antlers Bar Manager you will:
- Ensure efficient friendly and professional service is provided to all guests.
- Lead & coach team to ensure venue standards are upheld.
- Work with other leaders & stakeholders
- Maintain effective communication with the team in regards to upcoming events and venue requirements. Eg weekly meetings with management team and kitchen brigade.
- Set up pack down and delivery of the bar & all special events
- Proactively creating unique experiences tailored to our guests
- Take the lead as the first point of contact for any feedback from guests & act on this
- Be knowledgeable of and operate within the outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
- Set up procedures to protect and maintain service equipment correctly recording breakages and carry out regular stocktaking.
- Relevant experience in a similar venue of at least 3 years
- Valid QLD RSA
- Extensive knowledge of Wine & Beer varieties
- Exceptional Cocktail creating ability
- Superior organisational skills as well as the ability to multi task.
- A hands on approach to solving problems
