A Taunton-based company require a passionate front-end developer with 3-5 years of experience, skilled in React, Vite, and TypeScript. Work on exciting projects, write clean and efficient code, and stay updated with industry trends. Mentor junior developers and collaborate in a fast-paced environment. This role offers Hybrid working, 3 days a week in the Taunton office. Main responsibilities for the Mid-Level React Developer:
- Build, test, and deploy robust web applications using React, Vite, and TypeScript.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
- Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members.
- Diagnose and resolve issues, optimizing application performance.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain application competitiveness.
- Guide and support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong JavaScript & TypeScript proficiency
- Expertise in React hooks, state management, and context API
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Node.js, and Git
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Familiarity with Vite, ESLint, Prettier, Vitest, and CI/CD pipelines would be benficial
