Business/Operational Readiness Test Lead - Energy Company In this pivotal role, you’ll be the driving force behind their operational readiness testing efforts, working across multiple teams to ensure they're set up for success. You’ll manage testing strategies, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure every detail is accounted for, from resources and training to execution and analysis. Contract role INSIDE IR358 month contract Hybrid remote working: 2 days onsite Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Comprehensive Testing: Take charge of end-to-end operational readiness testing across teams, ensuring all processes are executed smoothly.
- Collaborate: Partner with product owners, business SMEs, test teams, and stakeholders to define test scopes, objectives, and success criteria.
- Plan and Execute: Develop and manage test plans, schedules, and scenarios to meet timelines and business objectives.
- Lead Testing Activities: Oversee testing execution, ensuring alignment with plans and effectively managing resources.
- Resolve Issues: Monitor results, track defects, and facilitate resolutions in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Prioritize and Mitigate Risks: Assess testing impacts, prioritize efforts, and address risks to keep everything on track.
- Drive Decision-Making: Play an integral role in business readiness go/no-go decisions.
- Experience with operational readiness testing in large-scale programs.
- Knowledge of end-to-end business process testing and acceptance criteria.
- Practitioner-level qualifications in Testing, Business Change, or Project Management (e.g., ISTQB, PRINCE2)
- Expertise in test processes, defect management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to align goals and deliverables across diverse teams and functions.
- Exceptional organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with test management tools for tracking and reporting.
