Senior UX/UI Designer Headquarters · Auckland Airport

Travvia, the home of JUCY and Star RV, is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer for a 6-month contract to join our team in Auckland. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Affiliates Australia and Asia, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding online user experiences across our digital products. This role is essential in ensuring user needs are aligned with business goals and digital strategy, driving commercial success. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will bring a strong foundation in design, a passion for solving complex problems, and a solid understanding of front-end development. You will be responsible for creating high-quality UI designs, enhancing user engagement, and improving conversion rates. You’ll also lead workshops, present concepts to leadership, and engage stakeholders throughout the design process. Key Responsibilities: User Experience Research : Lead UX research to understand user behaviours, needs, and pain points. Analyse data to generate insights that guide design decisions Wireframing & Prototyping : Develop and test user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to visualise and refine design solutions. Design Thinking : Apply design thinking methodologies to enhance brand assets and create innovative design solutions. UI Design : Create high-fidelity, pixel-perfect UI designs for digital platforms, ensuring usability, accessibility, and consistency Conversion Rate Optimisation : Use analytics and usability tools to design user experiences that improve conversion rates and engagement Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, commercial, and tech teams to ensure design solutions meet business goals and high-quality execution. Design Systems & Guidelines : Contribute to design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries for consistency across all products. Stakeholder Communication : Lead workshops, present design solutions, and articulate how designs meet user needs and business goals. What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• 5+ years’ experience in UX/UI design or front-end development.
• Strong commercial portfolio demonstrating high-level design thinking, visual design expertise, and a focus on customer outcomes.
• Proven experience delivering interaction design for web and mobile, with measurable customer and commercial success
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts to cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented, critical thinker with a customer-first approach to solving problems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Front-end UI development skills, including clean and maintainable code
• Experience with digital transformations and working across systems, processes, and people.
